hello from down under

hello everyone,

my name is Susan and I am from Sydney, Australia. I was born in Karachi, Pakistan and have been living in Aussie land since a very young age, eight to be exact. I am fanatical about papercrafts. I feel so very happy and thankful about getting into the Kaboodles DT. Frankly, I wasn't actually going to apply as I was getting used to getting one rejection after the other, I am so glad that I decided to apply and have been extremely fortunate to get into a DT with such talented ladies. I have been involved in crafts from a very young age but have got into paper crafts over the last six or so years and let me just say that I am hooked. I have been published in several Australian papercrafting magazines and have also had the opportunity to teach at my local scrapbooking store. I am currently also designing for Scrapbooking Top 50 and a guest designer for the month of July over at SPCC. I love joining in different challenges as it takes me out of my comfort zone and makes me try things that I wouldn't normally. I look forward to getting to know all of you out there and getting various projects done as part of the DT, I am sure we will learn alot from each other.
If you would like to see some of my work come on over to

Hi from Lorraine x

I have been so privileged to join the DT team for this fabulous challenge blog and thought you might like to know a little bit about me...just a little bit honest lol. I am a single parent to a family of three guys the first is my 18 year old handsome son James, a very small and noisy Jack Russell Terrier called Polo and a very big 'dwarf' rabbit called Jojo lol. I think I have spoiled each and everyone of them but hey that's what mums are for I have been crafting for about 6/7 years but since my early retirement from Local Government 3 years ago it has become my lifeline, my hobby and so much more and I love it. What I really love most is seeing the wonderful creations by so many talented and lovely people the inspiration is awesome. Hope to able to visit even more crafters when you join in with the fabulous challenges from Kaboodle Doodle see you all very soon. Hugs

HI !! I am IRIT and I am from sunny ISRAEL.
I am very glad to be a part of this great blog DT and hope to do my best and make everyone at home proud of me as I am the only Israeli papercrafter who made into DT of any foreign blog so far.
In my " real life" I am a dentist and for last 3 years I do it as a part time job because I need some extra time to run my Israeli online scrap shop and I have a lot of fun doing something else after 25 years of teeth.
I am married for 27 years to retired high police officer and the full time family cook these days.

I am a mom to 4 grown ups : 2 sons and twin daughters and the empty nest is probably the main reason for my obsession for crafting - finally I have some time for myself
My oldest son is an army officer and recently married, a second one is " a world traveler" - for last 3 years after his army service he is out of Israel for at least 9 months a year. This year he lives in Spain and works there.

My twins live in USA for 2.5 years after their army service (we all do it here for 2 or 3 years) after they traveled all over the world ,but in 2 weeks they'll be home for college.
I need to say that I am totally addicted to crafting since I was a little girl.
For many years it was polymer clay and jewelry making, but after I've seen scrapbook LO for the first time in my life ( only 5 years ago during my visit to USA) I understood finally that I am in love with paper .

Today I mostly scrap and do altered art and less a cardmaker, but I love it all and hope to show you all my sides here.
And finally my other addiction is..... folk dancing!!
So if I am not in my crafting room- I am probably dancing.
If you want to see a bit of my work you can visit my blog- and there is a translator on it- so see you there too

Hi there:o)

Hi there I'm Alysabeth, but you can call me Aly.

It’s been said that I was just born with the need to craft! I couldn't agree more, my days are filled with project creating and card making. I have wicked husband, who doesn't ask how much I spend, and a 2 year old daughter who helps out by napping in the afternoons. I love, love, love my stampin world and am giddy to let you in it with me.

Please take a moment to check out my blog, tell me what you think, and take a chance with my Gorjuss blog candy:o)

Till we meet again.

Thank you to all who entered our last challenge, we all enjoyed coming around and looking at the wonderful creations using a digi image.

We have a wonderful sponsor for this weeks challenge, it is Wendy from Digital Delights. I urge you to pop over to Digital Delights to see the wonderful range of Digi Images. Wendy has kindly given the prize of $10 Gift Certificate to spend at Digital Delights.

I am so excited as it is my turn (Angie) to set this challenge, I chose the theme 'WINDOW' - this can be interpreted anyway you wish.
